Cubierta was founded on real, practical experiences from the business world. We recognised that entrepreneurs often require more than just business consultancy—they need tangible actions that transform ideas into viable business operations and successful companies.

We identified a crucial need for a service provider who could develop a product concept into a market-ready product, protect the innovation, and collaborate with the entrepreneur to test the business model over a defined period.

Innovation has always been at the core of our roles across different industries. Given the sheer number of ideas we encountered, we saw a strong need to streamline and accelerate the process from concept to market-ready product and ultimately to a thriving business. Additionally, we aimed to support companies in their internationalisation efforts and export growth, as many business opportunities depend on access to global markets for long-term success.

Today, our team is multilingual, and one of Cubierta’s missions is to support foreign professionals living in Finland in securing employment or starting their own businesses. We firmly believe that diversity and the integration of expertise are essential drivers of sustainable growth and innovation.

The name Cubierta originates from Spanish and translates to ‘cover,’ ‘protection,’ or ‘shelter.’ To us, Cubierta represents a safe space and a professional, welcoming environment where anyone can present their ideas for evaluation and development into products, services, or businesses. At Cubierta, no idea is dismissed or underestimated—every idea is given the opportunity to flourish.
